Stallion Breeding Management Services:
Professional handling and care
Our facility and daily routine reflects our high standard of safety and well-being for each stallion in our
care. Well-lighted, spacious stalls, daily turnout, exercise, grooming and a custom feeding program
keeps the stallions in their best physical and breeding condition. Our experienced, professional staff is
highly trained and qualified to assist in handling and care of your stallion. Twin Creek Farms is one of
the few USDA certified quarantine facilities for exporting frozen semen to the European Commonwealth
and South America. Because equine reproduction is our main focus, we are well-equipped to handle
emergency collections and cater to each mare that we are shipping to. We have over 15 years of
experience managing many Champion and Champion-producing stallions, as well as transporting cooled
and frozen semen all over the world.

Mare Breeding Management
We offer a full-service facility for all aspects of mare breeding and foaling. We are experienced in
breeding with fresh, cooled and frozen semen. We have become well-known for successfully achieving
pregnancies with mares who have breeding challenges. Together with our training, experience and
diagnostic techniques, we work together as a team with our veterinarian to produce excellent results.
Many of the mares that come to us each year are booked to a resident stallion. However, the majority
of mares that we breed are here to be managed for Transported or Frozen semen. This is the most
successful way to breed a mare for transported semen, as we can monitor her heat cycle with stallion
teasing, coordinate the shipping arrangements for the collection, inseminate the mare, monitor her via
palpation and/or ultrasound when necessary and maintain her breeding records.
We also offer professional foaling services. Mares arrive at least 30 days prior to their projected due
date. We have experience working with maiden mares, mares foaling twins, dystocias and difficult
deliveries. Mares have daily turnout and their stalls that they come into each evening are cameramonitored, so that they are being monitored 24 hours per day. Newborn foals are imprinted, have IGG
blood tests to monitor their immune system at 12 and 24 hr intervals as well as have new foal physicals
by our veterinarian. Frozen colostrum is kept on hand at all times. We are also experienced to manage
orphans and their care. Many of the foals and orphans we have cared for have went on to become
National champion show horses in their respective breeds.
