It is for senior managers, however, to establish whether individual departments have the expertise and resources to deliver the core skill within their centres. Advice will be based on the general documents found in this pack, but be detailed and fully contextualised. In some cases the advice will be how to raise the level of attainment to the same level as that of the subject assessment. In others it will be to introduce the core skill. There are various means of achieving this, the main being to produce a plan or a report. Other options are, however, possible and have been applied if they better relate to the main learning activities of the subject.
