Research Project Manager, Department of Health and Exercise Science, 2006 – Present
Coordinate, lead, and monitor the Cooperative Lifestyle Intervention Program (CLIP), a
five-year nutrition and activity lifestyle behavioral intervention for obese, older adults
with cardiovascular disease in four North Carolina counties.
Research Program Coordinator, 2001 – 2005
Coordinator for the EQUAL II (Exercise and Quality of Life II), BRIDGE (Bringing
Diabetes General Education To Life), and RESTORE (Research On Optimal Recovery
Practices in Breast Cancer) trials including administrative work directed toward the design,
implementation, and evaluation of each project.
Senior Nutritionist, 1999-2001
Implemented the nutrition program protocol and intervention delivery for ADAPT
(Arthritis Diet and Activity Promotion Trial). Directed related support staff and student
assistants, and data collection. Assisted with writing grant proposals, reports, and
