INTEGRATED COLLEGE DUNGANNON
To celebrate Integrated Education Week 2014, Integrated College Dungannon
has arranged a variety of events to explore the theme of ‘Building Bridges’.
Students have made papers chains to decorate the college hall for our special
assemblies on “Building Bridges not Walls”.
Our extensive ‘student supporting students programme’ encompasses our
peer mediation and peer mentoring programmes so that our students feel
“safe, happy and ready to learn” at ICD, through the process of building
relationships.
Our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors drawn from Years 9 – 14 are using Integrated
Education Week to launch their “smile and compliment day” which underlines
how gestures and words are at the heart of building bridges between people.
