SCOPE (Society for Creation of Opportunity through Proficiency in English) has been setup by the Government of Gujarat to build English language proficiency in the youth of Gujarat and thereby creating employment opportunities for them.
SCOPE has roped in Cambridge ESOL as an assessment and certification partner. The training and assessment is done as per Common European Framework for Reference
(CEFR) and Association for Language Testers – Europe (ALTE). To become SCOPE recognized trainer you must have one level above the level of learner.
SCOPE has started taking Speaking tests from January 2011. We require Oral
Examiners Accredited by Cambridge ESOL for assessing speaking tests lying recorded in the server of Cambrdige ESOL. The tests are to be assessed online via internet and hence it doesn’t have limitation of geography or time. Oral Examiner shall be paid Rs. 25 for every speaking test assessed. On an average if one assesses 20 tests a day he/she can earn
Rs. 500 by working from home at leisure. In addition to that he/she will be part of the network of Cambridge ESOL for Oral examiners and can get more such assignments.
MPR (Minimum Professional Requirements) for Speaking Test Examiners:
1 Min of C1 level of Speaking and Listening Skills.
2 ONE year full time teaching / training experience.
3 Clearing the certification Programme of Cambridge to mark accurately.
If you are not currently certified by Cambridge ESOL, you can become so by appearing in the nearest examination of SCOPE. You can contact any of our centers for appearing in the exam.
