Safety Report:
Members were again reminded that they should check flares are in date. The new rules apply
from 1st July 2013. There is a $160 fine for non-compliance
It was also suggested that epirb expiry dates were also checked.

Fund Raising
There was a Raffle run at the June Angling meals night, thanks to all who helped on the night. We
raised a further $495.00 and the next Angling meal is 27th July.

Management Report
New club shirts with 40th Anniversary design on will soon be launched in several colors. There will
be a new system where shirts can be bought directly online. With some held behind the bar.
40th Birthday celebrations will be held on the 28th July with entertainment from just for Kicks and
plenty of games and bouncy castle for the children.
A lunch for past Commodores and Vice Commodores will be held and invitations have been sent
out.

Feedback to Management
Can we get clarification of what is happening with the shed? Can we have the shed or move dive
gear out of fishing shed as we now have no room or power.
Sailing members are leaving trailers in front of club rather than in the car park and this is causing
congestion and should not be done as it affects other club members.
12.
Special Events
Patrons Cup will run on the 7th Sept 2013, same day as the September competition and will be
fished out of MAAC, Andy Cass is the coordinator.

Commodores Ball is on the 13th July. There will be a 9 piece Jazz band and cost $100 per
person. Tickets are available through Gary Bell. 20 per section.
12.2
Masons Bar Beach Classic- Species list to be changed to add Skippy and remove Tarwine.
12.3
The Angling section wind up is booked for 21st September. Gary Bell has tickets for sale @ $25
each, Children $ 12. There will be a door prize and some sponsorship for prizes. Please buy your
tickets early to help with the planning.

General Business
Terry Bell asked if he could have approval to order some more weigh-in books. Cost will be
covered by the section unless we can get the printers to sponsor them again.
There was a break before we moved onto section AGM, where we voted on Notice of motions
and elected the Angling Section committee for 2013/14.

From the start of next Season (Oct 2013) the Mid- Month Fishing competition Species list is
changed to be exactly the same as the Beach Fishing Competition Species list.

Propose that the Beach Fishing competitions be expanded from the current six comps per club
year to eight comps per club year.
The extra competitions are to be placed at third weekend of January and at the third weekend of
July.
An Amendment to the Motion adds that: If there are 2 new competitions added, then the current
rule of dropping 1 (lowest) competition score from the overall annual championship total is
increase to dropping 2 (lowest) scores for each year.
