Huazhong Agricultural University
Huazhong Agricultural University (HAU), with a history dating back to 1898, is the first agricultural institute of
China. HAU, a national key university directly led by Ministry of Education, boasts her education and research
in the fields of agriculture, sciences, engineering, arts, law, economics, and management, featuring superior with
agriculture and life sciences. HAU is one of the first in a group of universities entitled to confer doctor and
master’s degrees, with 50 undergraduate specialties, 87 master specialties, 54 PhD specialties, and 10
post-doctoral research stations. The University has four National Key（reference）Laboratories, ten National
Engineering Technology (Research) Centres, and two National Bases for Talent Cultivation. HAU is located in
Wuhan, the hub of Central China. The campus covers an area of 475 hectares, surrounded by clear lakes on three
