LESSON PLAN 1 – YOUR NAME Class level Classroom High level Aula 3 Progress expectation By the end of the class the students will know the phonetic chart and will be able to pronounce sounds better. Sounds, phonetic script and pronunciation. The phonetic script, different sounds and how to pronounce them. The aim of this class is to teach the students different vowel sounds and the international phonetics script in order for them to be able to pronounce words better. Students will be able to recognise phonetic symbols from the international phonetic script and know their sounds and be able to pronounce them correctly. I am assuming that the students will not know the international phonetic script but I know that they all need work and to practise their pronunciation. I will use relevant worksheets and printouts of the phonetic script, I will also use recordings from the internet. I will assess throughout by using concept check questions. I will be able to assess through how well they use the phonetic script and how well their pronunciation of the sounds are during the lesson and exercises. I will also be able to assess the students’ learning through how well they do the exercises throughout and more so at the end of the lesson.
