We are looking for a dynamic postdoctoral researcher to join the Laboratory of Growth Regulators,
Group of Molecular Physiology at the Faculty of Science. Postdoctoral position centers on basic research of interaction between plant hormone and light signaling. The project is focused on identification of tomato 7B-1 gene involved in cross-talk of blue light and stress signaling. Recent
Ph.D. graduates (after March 28, 2008) with a background in plant physiology, plant genetics, molecular or cellular biology or biochemistry of plants, and with strong expertise in molecular biology and bioinformatics are encouraged to apply. Evidence of publication activity in physiology and molecular biology of plants, especially first-author publications in high quality impacted journals, Hindex, satisfactory command of English and experience with teaching students are expected. A starting salary between 40 000 – 50 000 CZK can be expected depending on experience and publication record of the applicant.
Funding for the post is available from January 1, 2013 to June 30, 2015.
