FIRST AID MEASURES.
General advice:
Remove contaminated clothing.
First aid – Inhalation:
After inhalation of decomposition products: Keep
patient calm, remove to fresh air, seek medical
attention.
First aid – Skin:
Wash thoroughly with soap and water.
First aid – Eyes:
Immediately wash affected eyes for at least 15 minutes
under running water with eyelids held open, consult an
eye specialist.
First aid – Ingestion:
Rinse mouth immediately and then drink plenty of
water, seek medical attention.

FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
Suitable extinguishing media:
Water.
Specific hazards:
At temperatures of >335oC can be emitted: ammonia,
hydrogen chloride. The substances/groups of
substances mentioned can be released if the product is
involved in a fire.
Special protective equipment:
Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus.
Further information:
Product itself is non-combustible; fire extinguishing
method of surrounding areas must be considered. In
case of fire and/or explosion do not breathe fumes.
Large quantities of extinguishing water containing
dissolved product should be contained. Contaminated
extinguishing water must be disposed of in accordance
with official regulations.
6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Use personal protective clothing.
Environmental precautions:
Do not empty into drains.
Methods for cleaning up or taking up:
For residues: Pick up in dry form. Disposed of
absorbed material in accordance with regulations.

own tests, literature data and information of glove
manufacturers or are derived from similar substances
by analogy. Due to many conditions (e.g. temperature)
it must be considered, that the practical usage of a
chemical-protective glove in practice may be much
shorter than the permeation time determined in
accordance with EN 374. Manufacturers directions for
use should be observed because of great diversity of
types.

Exposure to high concentrations can cause eye, skin or
respiratory irritations.
Sensitisation:
Skin sensitising effects were not observed in animal
studies.
Further information:
In long-term studies in rats and mice in which the
substance was given by drinking-water, a carcinogenic
effect was not observed.

Assessment of aquatic toxicity:
Inhibition of degradation activity in activated sludge is
not to be anticipated during correct introduction of low
concentrations. The effect strongly depends on the
pH-value.

Inorganic product which cannot be eliminated from
water by biological purification processes.

Do not release untreated into natural waters. The local
regulations on waste-water treatment must be followed.
