2. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
Human
Handling precautions: Avoid ingestion, prolonged/repeated exposure to the skin and keep out of eyes.
May cause skin irritation if exposure is prolonged and/or repeated. May cause eye irritation.
Moderate toxicity if ingested.
Safety
Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50C.
Ecological
Not completely biodegradeable. Discharge of large quantities into the aquatic environment may kill
fish and other aquatic organisms.

4. FIRST AID
Skin Exposure: In the event of exposure wash off with soap and water and remove contaminated
clothing and launder before re-use.
Eye Contact: Rinse with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical advice.
Ingestion: If swallowed, do not induce vomiting: seek medical advice immediately & show this
container or label.
Inhalation: In case of prolonged inhalation, remove from exposure to fresh air immediately. Get
medical aid immediately.
5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES
Do not expose allow prolonged exposure to temperatures in excess of 50 degrees centigrade .

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Contained spilled liquid with sand or vermiculite and place in chemical waste container. Prevent runoff from entering drains, sewers and streams.
7. HANDLING & STORAGE
Store between -5C and 40C out of direct sunlight. Keep away from sources of ignition and store in
well ventilated areas. Do not store close to strong oxidising agents.
8. EXPOSURE CONTROL/PERSONAL PROTECTION
Skin exposure: May cause skin irritation.
Eye contact: May cause eye irritation.
Ingestion: Moderate toxicity if ingested..
Dermal/inhalation: For prolonged exposure and bulk handling – wear safety glasses, impervious gloves
and protective clothing. Pack in a well ventilated area. Flammable if exposed to naked flame. Large
quantities released into surface waters may be harmful to wildlife.

10. STABILITY & REACTIVITY DATA
May react with strong oxidants. Flammable if exposed to naked flame. Stable at temperatures of up to
40C.
11. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION
Harmful – can cause acute or chronic damage to health if ingested. May cause some irritation of the
mouth and upper digestive tract. May produce skin irritation after prolonged contact. May cause eye
irritation.
12. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION
Do not release into surface waters.
13. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS
Contained spilled liquid with sand or vermiculite and place in chemical waste container. Prevent runoff from entering drains, sewers and streams. Empty containers may be landfilled at a licensed facility.
Wash hands thoroughly after handling material.

The surfactant complies with the biodegradeability criteria as laid down in Regulation (EC) No.
648/2004 on detergents. The Classification & labelling is according to EEC Directive 67/548EEC.
This product is not classed as dangerous under Dangerous Substances Directive 67/548EEC.
The SDS Sheets are prepared in accordance with REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and
Restriction) which became law on 1 June 2007.
