TOK ESSAY INSTRUCTIONS
1. You must upload your essay to Turnitin.com.
The submission dates are Monday January 17th
to Tuesday January 18th by MIDNIGHT.

3. You must upload your FINAL TOK essay via
the website https://candidates.ibo.org on
Wednesday January 19th.
4. You need to login using your six character
alphanumeric personal code AND your personal
identification number (PIN) that will be given to
you by Madame Roe-Etter.
5. After accepting the terms and conditions for
using the website, you will enter the prescribed
title and the number of words in your essay,
digitally sign the candidate declaration and then
upload your essay.
6. You are not permitted to include illustrations or
other graphics in your essay due to file size
restrictions. This includes avoiding the use of the
IB logo.
7. The computer lab 400 will be booked for the
day. You must also submit one copy of your
essay along with the originality report from
Turnitin.com. You will be called to the lab via
your English class period.
