Featured Speakers
Sara Ricketts, MD is a Board Certified Psychiatrist at DHMC and cares for pregnant woman
with depression disorders.
Kristen A Brown MSN, PNP, NNP is a neonatal nurse practitioner in the Intensive Care
Nursery at CHaD. Kristen's clinical interests include care of the drug addicted and VLBW infant
as well as family centered care.
Celeste Johnston, RN, DEd is the James McGill professor in the School of Nursing at McGill
University and a nurse scientist at the Montreal Children's Hospital of the McGill University
Health Centre and the IWK Women and Children's Hospital in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Dr.
Johnston has been studying pain in newborns, infants and children for many years and is part of
both a national and international consortium on research about pain in these vulnerable groups.
She is also director of a nursing intervention research group between McGill and University of
Montreal.
Gardner Yenawine, EdD, is an Organizational Development Specialist at DHMC. Gardner has a
special interest in leadership, career development and conflict resolution.
Susan H. Donnelly, BSN MS is currently the Unit Leader for the Pediatrics/Adolescent Unit at
CHaD. Prior to that Susan spent 20 years as an Organizational Development Specialist
facilitating leadership, quality improvement and staff development activities at DHMC.
Art Higgins, BA, MEd, is a Senior Risk Manager with the Dartmouth Hitchcock Risk
Management Program and provides support to the ICN as needed.

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center's Nursing Continuing Education
Council is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the
American Nurses' Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. This
educational activity carries 7.5 contact hours.
Directions
Interstate 89 to Exit 18/Rt 120 North. Drive 3 miles toward DHMC. Turn
left onto Lahaye Drive and right onto Mt Support Rd to Lot 20. Park in Lot
20 and wait in any of the bus shelters for the Shuttle Bus to the Hospital
Entrance. Follow the signs to the Main Entrance and Auditorium G.
