late after 5 to 10 minutes from the schedule and Mr

mintues from the schedule to provide time for the
just in time students and students logging in late to
settle down to avoid repetition of the same
questions.
Mr. Rama also informed that after the every video
conference the guidelines are posted on to the
discussion forum for the students’ benefit, which
will also help the students who could not attend the
VC due to various reasons.

centre is very good. The programme is very helpful
for both full time and part time students.



Mr. Thiru centre facilitator from OCJB informed
that everything is fine regarding the module. But
there are no more additional slides other than the
text book slides For which Mr. Bharani answered
that for networking modules WEC is working on
improving the module contents and will be
implemented as early as possible.
Mr. Thiru also requested for the Facilitators Video
conference to be conducted during the weekends
instead of the week days.
Module Leader’s Feedback
MR.BHARANI – WC & NS

Mr.Bharani suggested the following for the
betterment of the student :
1. Centre representatives should ensure that students
Mr. Bharani
understand the VC steps and procedures
2. for this term some Students complained the
assignment questions was difficult, but it is framed
in such a way that it requires the students to
improve their practical knowledge
3. During Assignment VC session, ML did not
answer the repetitive questions from students and
adviced the students to view the Discussion for
assignment guidelines.
4. Attendance for Final Exam VC was more
compared to the Assignment guidelines VC.
5. Online support was up 100% i.e. no downtime
during the VC for NS module.
6. Support from WEC management was exemplary.
Mr. Mahendran – MM & DMP
Mr.Mahendran informed that the module material provided
for this term is better that the material provided for
previous terms
Mr Mahen said, he has to use the old PPT as there is very
less time available for him by the time the new material
was provider by the publisher. He insisted that the book is Mr. Rajasekar
from the same author with some updated contents, the
earlier slides can be used as it is expect for few additional
topics in the newer editions for which the slides were
provider in the later stage.
To which Dr.Steve suggested that the facilitator could also
use his/her own slides. They can also give their own
handouts.
MR.RAJASEKAR - BDC


Centre Facilitators are much supportive.
The students participation was very good for the
final examination VC up to 70-80% of the students
attend the VC, but only 40-50% of the students
attend the assignment VC. For which the centre
facilitators should encourage the students to attend
the VC and get benefitted.
Other Issues

Mr. Rama
Dr. Eric suggested the centres have to encourage
the students to participate more in the VC.
The next BSc Course Committee meeting will be held in
November 2008.
