Some essays will be written in class as designated by the instructor. All work must
be completed on the instructor's timetable. Failure to complete an assignment on
time will result in a deduction of ten points per class day the assignment is late.
The assignments for November 5, 7, and 14 will each count 33.3 percent of an essay
grade; these assignments must be completed on time.
