 Independently handles duties in exploration geology including detailed geological logging, Identification &
Delineation of ore bodies, Regional to Detailed Geological & Structural mapping, Pitting, Trenching, Auguring
& Panning, Logging & Sampling, Spot & Bulk Sampling, Stream sediment sampling, Soil sampling, drill
planning, developing interpreted geological sections for resource modeling, report writing
 Integrates and interprets data related to RC and core drilling data, geophysical data, as well as geochemical
data, Core/RC/RAB(DTH) drill sampling, Core Drilling – Vertical, Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling, Hydraulic
Rotary drilling, Rotary Air Blast (RAB) or Down-the-Hole (DTH) drilling, Augur drilling,
 Proposes new or more efficient work practices to optimize performance and to ensure adherence to industry
regulations and organizational standards
 Participates in task forces related to exploration geology including designing exploration programs and
evaluates results, site safety procedures and implementation
 Provides technical advice on exploration activities in the field as well as the office
 Provides geological input and consults with other departments at the mine site to ensure programs advanced
on time and in a safe environment
 Executes short and intermediate-term strategies and plans that support growth of Mine & Near Mine

Nature of Work:
1.
Managing exploration needs for resource evaluation, production support and reserve enhancement.
Exploration data processing, Ore Body Modeling and Geological reserve estimation, Liaison with statutory
agencies for Applying New Mining. Regional and detailed geological exploration, Drilling activities, which include
drill site proposals and preparations, logging of drill cores, chips, their sampling, recording and proper
documentation and reporting. Checking the driller’s performance from time to time or that the daily drilling activity
reports
are
submitted
periodically
for
proper
verification.
Writing exploration reports for the project assigned. Supervision of personnel for surface geological mapping and
sampling where necessary to verify grade. Involved in: Programming and implementation of drilling activities, site
preparation, logging and sampling. Reconnaissance and detailed exploration activities such as planning; program
scheduling; and actual work coverage.

Drilling and mining exploration in different area to find out iron ore, limestone, dolomite and coal exposure in new
area, Geological mapping, core logging and their analysis and good knowledge of different ore and mineral.
Worked for Vandana global ltd. in Dehli rajhara (CG) area to find out iron ore resources and in wani area for
Gupta coal to find out coal exposure and limestone, dolomite exposure for Ispat ltd.

Coring and monitoring on onshore well site , follow up of coring operations and well logging, collection of field
data and there visual and microscopic description study, desorption methane gas analysis, Core Photography,
Core Slabbing, Core preservation. Analyzed, prepared, processed and preserved cores in lab and on wellsite.
Rigging up, installation and rig down. Involved in well operation, exploration and production activities. Worked with
wellsite Geologist to gain hands-on operational skills in both exploration and production wells, Rotary Drill Rig
Truck mounted KDR200.

Monitoring of all parameters at the onshore well site during drilling with Online and offline computer, gathered
information of the drilling operation and various parameters by using the different software program like
Geologger, Gasscan, Datascan, ROP scanner, Master log etc. collection of field data and cutting rock sample and
there visual and microscopic and fluorescence, cut fluorescence and rock formation study. Real-time data, lag
time and cycle time calculation, ("d" exponent, Sigma, pore pressure, fracture gradient etc.), Drilling operation
status detection and determination, Log drawing and reporting (On screen graphical and numerical editing, Data
import from files, Data export to text files etc). Client is ONGC

Field work for collecting various geohydrological data and geophysical surveys by resistivity electric method in
field, monitoring water analysis data, watershed management, Collection of field data from drilling sites, Data
interpretation preparation of Cross-section, Acquainted with the interpretation of the data available for the Ground
water survey and helping in selection of sites for Digging wells and bore wells in different geological formation,
Assist with work plan preparation and field work for suggesting wages and means for artificial recharge to
groundwater, preparation of reports on hydrogeology, TSP work and such other subjects and also attending
drilling and logging of bore wells.
