producing declarative, negative, and interrogative sentences using the future progressive tense with subject – verb
agreement.
Student Friendly Definition: I can demonstrate knowledge of parts of speech by producing declarative sentences using the
future progressive tense with subject – verb agreement
Materials : Preview Poster, Concept Poster, worksheets, pictures
Monday
TW/present Preview Poster on Future Progressive Declarative.
TW/show a picture of President Obama posing for a picture.
SW/discuss with their team and brainstorm a title, subjects and verbs for the picture.
TW/write the subjects and verbs on the poster with the picture on it.
TW/assist with PUSH words for both subject and verb. Push words: Subjects- pupils and
instructor Verbs: to proctor and to assess
TW/assist students in creating Future Progressive Declarative using subjects, verbs, and formula (Subject + will be + verb+ing
+ finisher). Sample sentence – The instructor will be proctoring the students during the AIMS test.
SW/read the final sentences as a whole group
SW/write sentences as a team using the remaining subject and verbs not used before using the same formula: Subject + will
be + verb+ing + finisher.
TW/circulate and assist the students.
TW/randomly select a few students to share a sentence.
Tuesday
TW/present Preview Poster on Future Progressive Declarative.

dedicating all of their time studying for their finals.
SW/read the final sentences as a whole group
SW/write sentences as a team using the remaining subject and verbs not used before using the
same formula: Subject + will be + verb+ing + finisher.

TW/randomly select a few students to share a sentence.
Wednesday
SW/complete the future progressive.
TW/randomly select a few students’ to read the sentence aloud with the correct future progressive.
SW/discuss with their partner if they agree or disagree with the students answer. I agree with (state students’ name) answer

Thursday
