TO TRANSFER A CALL
You are talking to someone and you wish to transfer the caller:

Advise caller of transfer
Press LINK button (wait for 3 beeps)
Dial the number you are transferring the caller to, announce transfer
Replace handset or press RLS button
If local is busy OR there is no answer; press LINK button twice (you are
connected to your original party)
TO CONSULT PRIVATELY WITH A 3RD PARTY

During your conversation, press LINK button
Dial number (you are able to have a private conversation)
Press LINK button twice momentarily to return to original caller
THREE WAY CALLING

Follow transfer procedure
When connected to third party, press LINK button to establish 3 way call
Do not hang up
CALL PICKUP (YOU MUST BE IN A SYSTEM GROUP)
To answer another telephone ringing in your area:

Lift handset
Press CALL PICKUP key or dial 113. (You are automatically connected
to the incoming call)

SPEED CALL LIST (YOU MUST BE IN A SYSTEM LIST)
To program numbers you call frequently:
A.
To program (must be controller)

Lift handset
2.
Dial #2, location entry (00-99), telephone number to be programmed
(i.e. # + 2 + 00 + 9 + 757-7111)
B.
To use (must be in Speed Call List)
1.
Lift handset
2.
Dial #3, plus entry code (00-99)

You will hear a busy signal if you are not in a speed call list or controller.
CALL PARK
To Activate:
1.
Inform caller he is being placed on “hold”
2.
Press CALL PARK button
3.
Replace handset
To Retrieve:
1.
Lift handset
2.
Press CALL PARK cancel key OR dial 1172 if no key is available
(3 beeps are heard)
3.
Dial the extension number of the set where the caller was parked
CALL FORWARD
To Activate:

Lift handset
Press CALL FORWARD feature key (dial tone is heard)
Dial number you want your calls forwarded to (Include 9 if applicable)
Replace handset
To Remove:
1.
Lift handset
2.
Press CALL FORWARD key. (Wait momentarily for confirmation tone)

RING AGAIN
You have reached a busy local (on campus calls only) and want to be notified when that
person has hung up:
To Activate:
1.
Press the RING AGAIN feature key (wait for 3 beeps)
2.
Replace handset
3.
Your phone will automatically ring when the busy extension becomes
available
4.
Lift the handset (you will hear ringing)
5.
Wait for the person to answer
To Cancel:
1.
Lift handset
2.
Press the RING AGAIN feature key
