Greek Homework for Autumn Half Term. Rather than having a LO on a different topic every week, I am sending home a list of activities with the central theme of Ancient Greece, which will draw on ICT, Literacy, Numeracy, Drama, RE and DT skills to be completed over the entire term. You can start your learning journey as soon as you want! To ensure that momentum is maintained with this different approach, each task will have a value in points. Each child must achieve points every week (i.e. they have to complete a task every week). These points will be added every week and at the end of the term, we will have a presentation for the top 5 highest scores. Many children have found a week is not long enough to complete their Homework to their satisfaction therefore this long term approach may be more manageable. Evidence of a task must be brought in every week for assessment on Friday. The weekly spelling and maths sheet will still be given out every Friday as normal. As always, please ask if you need any support for any of the activities. As this is a new method of homework, I would appreciate comments, positive and negative! Ancient Greece...
