the cold winter months cause areas of skin to go red and
dry and to itch terribly. However, some people suffer from
raw, flaky skin and severe itchiness all year round. This
is where the new skin care series from Dr.Hauschka Med
Skin comes in – with two products specially designed for
people with very dry, itchy and flaky skin: Dr.Hauschka
Med Ice Plant Body Care Lotion for everyday body care
and Dr.Hauschka Med Ice Plant Intensive Cream for
treating areas of particularly dry skin. These products are
on sale as of November.
The central component of both unscented care products is
the 100% pure, freshly pressed juice of the moisture-rich
and robust ice plant, which soothes and cares for the
skin while relieving itchiness and redness. A
combination of various high-quality natural oils – for
example from jojoba fruit, sesame seeds or almonds –
forms a creamy foundation which is absorbed readily by
the skin while providing additional protection for the
outer layer (epidermis) without leaving behind a greasy
film. Both new Dr.Hauschka Med ice plant care products
were developed together with experienced dermatologists,
are free of chemical dyes and preservatives and are also

dermatological tests conducted by an independent testing
institute, which also included tests on patients with
dermatitis.

Dr.Hauschka Med Ice Plant Body Care Lotion is a basic
skin care for daily use, which fortifies the skin’s own
powers of defence and natural barrier function. At the
same time, it reduces the feeling of tightness, helps to
prevent itching and leaves the skin feeling soft and
smooth.
Dr.Hauschka Med Ice Plant Intensive Cream was
developed specially for treating problem areas of skin, for
example on the face, the crook of the arm or the hollow
of the knee. This product helps particularly dry areas of
the skin prone to flaking, itching and irritation to return
to a natural oil and moisture balance while eliminating
itching. Dr.Hauschka Med Ice Plant Intensive Cream
reduces the sensation of tightness and fortifies the natural
barrier function of the skin. It is applied to the affected
areas one or more times a day as needed.
