RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT
The Student (and parent/guardian of such) recognizes the inherent risks of injuries involved in horse
back riding/driving or being around horses. I am also aware that horse is capable of unpredictable behavior at
times. In taking lessons or holding any type of party at LOOKAWAY FARM or participating in activities, I
assume any and all such risk of injury, horse-related activities, death and further, I voluntarily release and hold
LOOKAWAY FARM, it’s owners, owners of other horses/ponies stabled, instructors, employees, agents and
spectators therein, harmless from any and all claims, damages or liability for any injury to me, any of my
children, or any other person or property arising as a results of me and/or any of my children riding, taking
place in activities or being around animals at LOOKAWAY FARM, located at 6980 Boneta Road, Medina,
Ohio. I further agree to assume all responsibility and risks from the use of riding horses while taking lessons at
LOOKAWAY FARM, whether horses are owned by LOOKAWAY FARM or other. I further agree to hold
LOOKAWAY FARM, trainers and employees free from all damages or liability for injury to person or
property arising as a result of the use of horses or equipment while riding at LOOKAWAY FARM.
NOTE: Under Ohio law, Section 2305.40 of the Revised Code, an equine activity sponsor, professional,
volunteer, participant or other person is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in the
equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities.
