STUDY ON EFFECTS OF HEAT AND DRUGHT OF SEASON END ON SOME AGRONOMIC TRAITS OF SIXTEEN CANOLA VARIETIES IN WEST SOUTH IRAN AbstraCT In this study the effects of heat and drought at season end on some agronomic traits in sixteen canola varieties were carried out in Behbahan Agricult Research Station in west South Iran . The statistical analysis were carried out according to completely randomized blocks base on creating four environments of plant growth by different planting date and cutting the last irrigation of plant growth. Created four environments were planting dates at: November1-20 (normal), Novembeber 2-20 with cutting last irrigation (tension ), December 3-20 (heat tension) and December 4-20 with cutting last irrigation (drought and heat tensions). Three replicationions were used in this experiment. Results showed that heat and drought tensions presented significant differents (p 1%) between four environments for number pod per plant, number seed per pod and seed thousand weight. Hyola variety had the highest yield, therefore this variety was recommended for all same areas. Key words: Canola, Heat and drought tensions, Yield, Yield components
