“SHOWTIME 2014” – 42nd Anniversary Celebration Benefit Concert

On Saturday, August 2nd you can join the fight against substance abuse by participating in the 21st
Annual Benefit Concert for the Asian American Drug Abuse Program (AADAP). AADAP proudly
celebrates 42 years of service to the Los Angeles community.
PROCEEDS BENEFIT:
Since 1972, the Asian American Drug Abuse Program (AADAP, Inc.) has grown to be a leader in
providing prevention and treatment services to Asian and Pacific Islander families affected by the
consequences of substance abuse and addiction. With the support of generous sponsors AADAP has
been giving men, women and children access to affordable and quality services for over 42 years.
Significant among its accomplishments, AADAP:
 Has treated more than 50,000 youths and adults;
 Has served 300,000-400,000 people from diverse communities countywide;
 Established a strong reputation and long-standing relationships in South Los Angeles
Your support of AADAP, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, will have the benefit of “changing lives and
saving families” by addressing the consequences of substance abuse and addiction.
REQUEST: Showtime 2014 features a DESSERT RECEPTION and Meet & Greet the
Artists that follows the Benefit Concert. We are seeking donations from
Restaurants/Bakeries of dessert items for this Reception. There is no set amount, you
can give as much as you wish. Desserts that work especially well are Sheet Cakes,
Cupcakes, Cakes & Cookies.
BENEFITS:
Depending on the size of the donation or underwriting – a listing in the program book as well
as appropriate “Thanks” in the book and a table sign with your logo acknowledging your
donation will be at the Dessert Tables.
