Dr. Elise M. van de Putte is pediatrician specialized in social pediatrics.
Her expertise is in the clinical approach of children and adolescents with child
abuse, somatization and conversion disorder. She is a researcher in the field of
child abuse and chronic fatigue syndrome (thesis 2006, total of grants 2 million
euros, 40 publications)
She is the Chair of the Medical Ethical Committee for research in minors of the
University Medical Center Utrecht since 2012. And she is a member of the
Taskforce Child Abuse and Sexual Assault, an advisory board for the Ministries
of Safety & Justice and Health
