Parents, please look through your child’s paper for the items listed below. Do NOT
change your child’s word choice, unless it is absolutely necessary… This is still THEIR
paper.







5 Indentations (1 for each paragraph)
Correct spelling, punctuation, grammar.
A logical sequence.
Sentences that flow together naturally when read aloud.
Transitions that connect ideas.
The first paragraph gives a brief introduction to your child’s person.
The second paragraph is mostly about the person’s early life… (When they were
born, family, etc.)
 The third paragraph is mostly about the person’s education and special training.
 The fourth paragraph is mostly about “why the person is important to AZ.”
 The fifth paragraph summarizes what the entire paper is about.
