Public consultation on bees guidance extended
Interested parties now have until 12 November to submit comments
on EFSA’s draft Guidance on the Risk Assessment of Plant Protection
Products on Bees.

flavourings
EFSA is hosting a meeting later this month to allow exchanges of
views on administrative and scientific issues related to the
preparation, submission and risk assessment of applications for food
flavourings.

In recognition of the 10th anniversary of the General Food Law and the establishment of
EFSA, the Authority is holding a joint conference with the European Commission’s
Directorate General for Health and Consumers. The conference provides an important
opportunity for EFSA’s partners and colleagues in other institutions and organisations to
help set out the Authority’s vision of its future.

Registration for those interested in participating as Observers at the November 2012
plenary of the PPR Panel is now open. Underpinning its commitment to openness and
transparency, EFSA is offering access to meetings of its Scientific Committee and Panels
in 2012/2013.
