Position Title: Research Scientist – ISCOMATRIX Adjuvant Research Department: 828 Division: R&D CSL Level: CSL5 Employment Type: Full Time Summary of Role: The objective of the group is to develop, validate and perform key immunological assays using recombinant protein therapeutics such as vaccines, antibodies and other protein mediators that target and modulate the function of specific cell types and ameliorate diseases. This particular role within the Cell Biology and Physiology group is responsible for the physical and chemical characterisation and assay development of ISCOPREP™ saponin and ISCOMATRIX™ adjuvant. The role extends the capabilities of the group by providing expertise in physical chemistry (specifically surface chemistry) and analytical chemistry of ISCOPREP™ saponin and ISCOMATRIX™ adjuvant. Further, the role adds capability in chemical modification ISCOPREP™ saponin contributing to the elucidation of the mechanism of action of ISCOMATRIX™ adjuvant.
