Read your approved biography and create an Internet-generated crossword puzzle to
show interesting facts about your famous person. Follow the prompts on the Internet site
– it’s pretty easy! You can cut and paste your work to word. DO NOT PAY BECAUSE
THERE ARE FREE SITES. You must have twenty clues and answers. It would be smart to
jot down clue ideas as you read. Hand in both a blank puzzle and an answer key. Include
a heading with your name, the biography’s title, and the author. Look at published
crossword puzzles in newspapers or online for ideas about interesting clues. Make your
clues varied, clever, and challenging. Your clues should not be all questions. Your
answers should not all be one-word answers. When you type in a multiple word answer
for your key, don’t include spaces. All clues must be words (no numbers or spaces or
hyphens, etc.).
The clues should offer a full flavor of the person’s life and
accomplishments. Don’t make your clues too simple and boring, like the bad examples
below.
