Part I: Determining the Meaning
Match the vocabulary words to their dictionary definitions. If there are words for which you
cannot figure out the definition by contextual clues and by process of elimination, look them up
in a dictionary.

Part III:
Choose at least 3 of the assignments from the list below. Complete and print by the end of class.
1) Write a script for a scene in a movie or play that uses all 14 words. (Drama is good, but
comedy is better. Go for it!)
2) Create a quiz that would test a student’s knowledge of all 14 words.
3) Create a game that uses the words as a study tool.
4) Create a crossword puzzle using the 14 words. (Google crossword creator, but you must
write original clues! They cannot just be the definitions)
5) Create a PowerPoint that would teach 5 of the words to the class. (At least 3 slides per
word)
6) Use Paint, or another program, to draw and illustrate 8 of the words.
7) Write the script for a Radio News Report that uses all 14 words. (Hint: Pretend Macbeth
is real and that you are reporting the news about his life)

4-Fold Vocabulary
Use the internet to find a picture that represents each word. Make a chart like this one for 8 of
the words.
