ADMINISTRATIVE
BACKGROUND
CURRICULUM
Created a comprehensive Course Description to distribute to
students and to their parents. This provided an excellent instrument for
school-community relations.
Participated in assessments and studies which led to recommendations for
advanced placement courses in English, calculus, American history and
government, and physics.
Involved with technological studies for the new Hoover High School.
Chaired three North Central Evaluations for Hoover High School.
Provided staff development and inservice programs for staff members.
Assisted with procedures and scheduling of the ninth and twelfth grade
proficiency tests and assisted in initiating intervention programs.
Created academic assist classes to tutor or to provide enrichment opportunities
for students.
Chaired or served on district level committees such as Certificated Policy,
Drug/Alcohol, and Multicultural Development Program.
Developed 5-year plans for textbook and curricular review and assisted in

Served as president of the North Canton Administrators’ Association and was
negotiator for the administrators to the superintendent and North Canton Board

Member of the Unified High School Committee that studied, evaluated, and
recommended proposals for the new high school.

Assisted interested parents in creating an Academic Booster Club to
recognize students for their academic achievements and citizenship.
