 A free session with a certified credit counselor and a free financial review
 Advice on how to work with creditors
 A written action plan with timelines
 Approved bankruptcy counseling if needed
After the free session, if you need additional help, your counselor will suggest a debt
management plan (DMP) that allows you to make one simple payment each month. If a
DMP is right for you, Union Plus will waive the setup fee. After successfully completing
a year of the plan, union members will be reimbursed for the monthly fee.
Considering Bankruptcy?
MMI has a team of trained counselors who will work one-on-one with you to create a
detailed personal financial assessment. During the assessment, the counselor will work
with you to analyze your income, expenses, assets and liabilities and provide you with a
true and accurate picture of your financial situation.
Upon completion of the bankruptcy counseling session, you will be issued a certificate
of participation. This certificate will allow you to proceed with the bankruptcy process.
Union Plus will waive the cost of bankruptcy counseling for union members.
