For full consideration, apply by: 08/03/2007 Job Description: Seeking Visiting Project Coordinator for 12 month grant funded project (August 16, 2007 through August 15, 2008). Manages and coordinates the activities of research for the Section of Adolescent Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics. This is a continuous, full-time, twelve month position. Minimum Education and Work Experience: Required: A bachelor's degree; master's degree preferred. Minimum of two year's experience in administration of research / patient care programs, preferably in a university or healthcare setting required. Required: Fluent in spoken and written Spanish; computer proficient. Skills Desired: Ability to recruit patients (parents & teens) to participate in phone, in person or mail interviews Ability to conduct interviews in Spanish and English with patients from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds and while parents who may have low literacy levels Able to do maintain Excel computer database. Good organizational skills and capacity assist in scheduling subcontractors, to coordinate and supervise data collection and travel to multiple off-campus sites.
