Parents and 6th graders,
I would like to introduce you to the project that we will be working on in class for the next three
weeks. During this time we will be researching and creating a Power Point.
There is a portion of this project that will have to be completed at home. (Biome Model)
The following information will help explain how you will complete this project.
Students received their assigned biome and a packet on Tuesday, 4/28.
I will not except any projects after Monday, 5/18!!!

You are going to be researching and creating a BIOME Book, & designing, creating and presenting Power Point

1. You will research biome’s your plants and animals, climate, and ecological problem/issue. Complete all
research on the provided research papers (Book)
2. You will create a rough draft of your PowerPoint on the provided worksheet. Your PPT rough draft has
to be approved before you can begin working on your PPT.
Helpful Tips:
This project is going to be ongoing for the next 3 weeks. You will have to manage your time wisely and
organize the requirements that you need to complete for success during this unit.
Utilize the following table to check off when you have completed any of the assignments. This will help you
keep track. Take notice of the dates and pace yourself.
