You are invited to enter the 27th annual Yeovil car Club Classic Tour. We are
pleased to have the continued support of other local clubs .
We start from Haselbury Mill a unique venue set in 14acres of glorious Somerset
Countryside. A mill has been on this site as far back as the times of William the
Conqueror and it is listed in the Doomsday Book.
Complimentary teas and coffee will be served in the Great Tithe Barn. Breakfast
is also available at extra cost. If you wish to have a breakfast, please indicate
numbers on the entry form.
The route is approximately 70 miles taking in some of the best driving roads in
Dorset with some spectacular views. The finish will be at Montacute House near
Yeovil.
Come and enjoy a special day out in the company of fellow enthusiasts.

SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS
ORGANISATION
1.0 The Yeovil Classic Tour is a touring car assembly for cars manufactured prior to 1975
Modern sports cars and any other vehicles of special interest may be included at the
organiser’s discretion.
1.1 The event will take place on Sunday 1st June 2014
1.2 The event is organised by Yeovil Car Club
1.3 The route will be approximately 70 miles
1.4 The Start will be at The Haselbury Mill, nr Crewkerne, Somerset and finish at
Montacute House nr Yeovil.
1.5 Entrants will be issued with a route book

ELIGIBILITY
All vehicles must be taxed, insured and with current MOT if appropriate
Drivers must hold a valid driving licence

ENTRIES
3.1 The closing date will be 26th May 2014. Late entries may be accepted at the
discretion of the organiser but may not receive a rally plate or be included in the
programme
3.2 The entry fee, to include coffee at the start, will be £23 (£19 for Yeovil car Club
members)
3.3 Entries should be sent with a stamped Addressed envelope for final instructions to
Stan Morris, Huish Farm, Tintinhull, Yeovil, Somerset BA22 8QL
3.4 Refund of entry fees will be at the organisers discretion

IDENTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION
Entrants will be provided with a number plate to be displayed on the front of the
vehicle
At the start all entrants will be required to “sign on “and register with the organisers.
They should ensure the their vehicle is roadworthy and conforms to 2.1
START AND ROUTE
Start will be at The Haselbury Mill, Nr Crewkerne, Somerset.

Cars will leave the start from 10.30 am
Cars should be at the start at least one hour before the start time.
The finish will be at Montacute House nr Yeovil TA15 6XP

CANCELLATION
Should unforeseen circumstances force cancellation of the event the organisers will
view the return of any part of the entry fees with due consideration

LUNCH
No formal arrangements but it is suggested that a stop is made at Hive Beach Burton
Bradstock. Refreshments are available at the Hive café. This is a National Trust car
park.

DECLARATION OF INDEMNITY
I have read the supplementary regulations issued for this event and agree to be
bound by them and by the General Regulations of the Motor Sports Association
Ltd. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of my being permitted to
take part in this event, in respect of any parts of this event not held on a publicly
adopted road, I agree to save harmless and keep indemnified the Motor Sports
Association Ltd, such Person, Persons, or Body as may be authorised by the
Motor Sports Association Ltd to promote or organise this event, and their
respective Servants, Representatives and Agents from and against all actions,
claims, costs, expenses and demands in respect of Death or Injury to or Damage
to the property of Myself, my Driver(s), Passengers(s), Mechanic(s) or associated
Personnel arising out of, or in connection with, this Entry or my taking part in this
Event.
