The majority of the training currently taking place in the consortium is in Bioinformatics through the H3ABioNet network coordinated from the Computational Biology (CBIO) group at UCT. The training coordinator will work closely with the H3ABioNet and H3Africa Coordinating Centre staff in the CBIO group, as well as the H3ABioNet and H3Africa Education and Training working groups to develop a consortium-wide training program, and manage training documents, forms, websites and course logistics. The H3Africa consortium includes 21 projects with PIs from around Africa and training courses will take place in multiple African countries.
