ANGLICAN CHURCH OF THE ASCENSION,
BASORUN ESTATE, GENERAL GAS, AKOBO IBADAN.
REPORT OF THE NEW COMERS` RECEPTION TEAM FOR THE MONTH FEBRUARY
2013.
1. Team members: We give all glory to God for His mercies on all members of this team all
through the month.
2.
Visitors in the month of February: In the month under review we had a total number of
Five (5) visitors to the church during our 10.00am Sunday services; Four (4) males and One
(1) female.
3.
Entertainment of First Timers: The first timers in the month were entertained with light
refreshments after service after which prayers were said by members of the team.
4.
How they know us: We discovered our visitor came to know the church through a number of
means - Orita-Igbala, (none); Sign-post, (1visitor); Divine-direction, (1visitor); Family
friends/invitation, (3visitors); and Proximity, (none).
5.
Intending members: Two (2) visitors indicated their desire to become members of the
church in the course of the month.
6.
Visitation: SMS were sent to all the visitors at the dawn of the new month of March 2013.
Texts were also sent to all those who have attended Church at one time or the other from
November 2013. A family was visited in the course of the month.

This month’s New Comers ‘Responses/Comments:. Below is a visitor’s comment:.
‘I really appreciate today`s service, it is lovely and cheering, I pray God improve my spiritual
life.And I believe that through this church I will be spiritually and supernaturally
Blessed.`-------D.O
Conclusion: Our utmost thanks go to the Lord for the church and for the new comers/new members
added unto us for the month of `February.` We indeed give thanks to God for adding unto His church.
May the Lord continue to bless and multiply us in Jesus’ name. Amen.
