THE CLOUD - Southern California Pre-Lenten GOYA Retreat will be held on February 24 -- 26, 2012 at the Valley Trails Camp in Castaic, CA and all youth in grades 6 -- 12 are invited to participate. Fr. Jason Roll (Saint Nicholas -- Northridge), Fr. Haralambos Fox (Saints Constantine and Helen -- Lancaster), Fr. Christos Kanakis (Saint Anthony -- Pasadena) and Paul Gikas (Metropolis Youth and Young Adult Ministries Director) will present this retreat. The Cloud is where our kids are spending a lot of time these days -- cyberspace. We will look at the need to use The Cloud responsibly and also how we can use the many Orthodox resources that are now a part of The Cloud in order to reach the Heavenly Cloud! Retreat activities include a high-ropes course, archery, teambuilding games, and it is a great opportunity for fellowship and fun! The Junior and Senior Divisions participate at the Parish, District, Metropolis and Archdiocese levels.
