award enabled me to continue work commenced as part of my studies for the intercalated degree in
physiology.
Awarded the `Young Oncologist Travel Award in Gynaecological Oncology` by the American Radium
Society in February 1995. Presented at the Annual meeting of the American Radium Society, 2 nd May 1995
in Paris, France.
Awarded the `Lindsay Park Memorial Medal` for the best presentation at the meeting of the Birmingham &
Midland Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society, 5th May 1995.
Awarded a travelling bursary by the British Congress of Obstetrics and Gynaecology to support my
attendance for oral presentation at the meeting in Dublin, Ireland on the 5th July 1995.
