WORLD CUP TOURNAMENT FRANCE: 27-28 JULY 2013 There is an opportunity for riding club members to compete in a Show Jumping competition in France at RC Level. The Generali World Club Tournament is a friendly international competition for every riding school (or club) all over the world. The aim of this event is to offer to first level competition riders (1meter fences), beyond sport and enjoyment, a unique opportunity of exchange. This famous meeting takes place every summer during the Generali Open of France at the Parc Equestre Federal, 41600 Lamotte Beuvron, France. Lamotte Beuvron is in the Loire Valley, about 140kms south of Paris. (Direct distance from Calais is 372kms as the crow flies.) Each team of 4 riders competes in two show jumping rounds and a final. A team ranking is made after each round. The purpose of this tournament is, first, to create a friendly event in which all members will meet riders from another place of the world and share their culture. Then, it offers to young competition riders the chance to taste the atmosphere of an international competition with a nation parade and national anthems. And it also enables team managers from other countries to discover the important improvement of riding schools in France and the way to increase equestrian practices in their countries. The Generali World Club Tournament takes place every summer during the Generali Open of France at the Parc Equestre Federal in Lamotte Beuvron, one of the biggest equestrian event in the world. 6500 riders and 6000 horses/ponies come to the Generali Open of France during one week to represent 1100 clubs.
