The airline Norwegian opens new route to Oslo
Norwegian, Scandinavia’s largest low cost carrier, opens 14 April 2007 a new
route from Valencia to Oslo every Tuesday and Saturday. - Valencia is our
fourth destination in Spain and we are looking forward to welcoming people
from the Valencia region to Norway. With one way tickets from EUR 34
including all taxes, we hope that our low prices will be very well received in
Valencia, says Mr. Daniel Skjeldam, Director Network in Norwegian.
Oslo, the capital of Norway, is situated at the head of Oslo Fjord surrounded by
forested ridges and has a population of 550,000.
The city has many unique features and attractions that are unusual for a European
capital. The city limits include a large recreational area suitable for skiing and hiking
as well as a vast array of restaurants almost unparalleled in Scandinavia. In winter,
the city has an artificial skating rink only a stone’s throw from the National Theatre
and the University. Oslo City Hall is located in the city centre only a few hundred
metres from the city’s main street and overlooks Oslo Fjord filled with moored
pleasure craft, shrimp trawlers, cruise ships, charter boats and ferries to all the
islands. Every 10 December the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded in the City Hall of
Oslo.
Oslo is a vibrant city with lots to see and do both summer and winter including:
museums, parks, urban districts with listed buildings and a variety of different shops.
As most sights are within walking distance of each other, you can leave your car
behind.
From Oslo Norwegian offers several routes within Norway.
Time table: Valencia-Oslo every Tuesday and Saturday
