Payments will be taken at Sport Yukon (4061 4th ave.) or the Soccer Shoppe (6098 6th ave.).
Payment Methods: Cash or Cheque Only. Please make cheques payable to Senior Metro Soccer League.
Registration Deadline: May 26th, 2011. Teams will be drafted Thursday May 26th.
Late Registration: Late registration will be accepted until Saturday, June 15th. Players will start league play June 22nd.
Jerseys:
The SML will provide a league jersey to each player. League Jerseys will be the only accepted jersey worn during SML
games. Jerseys must be returned at the season ending play-offs.
Waiver:
I recognize that soccer is by nature a fast paced and physical sport and that I will face risk of injury. I hereby
absolve the Senior Metro League of any responsibility for the injury and I waive the right to civil or criminal law
remedy against the League and its executive sponsors. Finally, I accept that agreeing to the terms of this waiver is
a condition of playing in the league.

Juneau Friendly Series July 7th/10th – The SML is looking to send a men’s team to Juneau for the weekend to play

Personal Conduct
a) All Recognized Members are expected to conduct themselves in the FIFA spirit of Fair Play.
b)
All league participants are expected to respect the officials, the fields of play and their fellow
competitors. Failure to follow these guidelines could result in disciplinary action
Punishment
FIRST TIER – these are the offences of 3 cumulative yellow cards or a red card and if a Judicial Board
finds the offence should have remained in this tier, the standard penalty shall be applied.
1 game suspension and a $10.00 administration fee paid to the SML prior to being permitted to return to
play.
SECOND TIER – these offences are of a more serious nature or if a Recognized Member is consistently
guilty of First Tier infractions.
1 game suspension + 1 additional game suspension for persistent infringement of Laws
$25.00 administration fee paid to the SML prior to being permitted to return to play.
THIRD TIER – these are serious offences that severely discredit the SML and leagues of play, tarnish
the image of senior soccer or severely endanger the health of our Recognized Members
Up to a full Season suspension.
$50.00 administration fee paid to the SML prior to being permitted to return to play.
FOURTH TIER – these offences are of an extremely serious and violent nature. The player has proven
to be a danger to others and the safety of the SML. The finding must also be approved by the Board of
Directors
Lifetime suspension from participating in SML activities
