The improvement in performance in all teams was massive and I hope that they will get the opportunity to further this improvement by playing back in their school. Congratulations to Our Lady’s and William Hulme’s who have qualified for the Citywide Finals @Wright Robinson College on Thursday 20th June - get some additional practice in!!!!!!! Congratulations also, to all players who took part, representing themselves and their schools in such an admirable manner. Thank you to all staff who coached, assisted and encouraged on the HUGE day and a thank you to the Young Leaders from St. Peter’s. They umpired the fixtures with growing confidence, explaining the rules to the young players so that they, in turn, could learn more about the game of Rounders. We could not deliver our competition programme without such quality young people.
