The agenda should be considered tentative and is subject to change. Presentations will be posted on
the web page after acceptance by the ASV.
Presentations and Exhibits
Presentations may be either workshops of 30 or 60 minutes with time for audience questions or a
panel of three to five presenters on the same topic, each with a formal presentation and audience
discussion.
The poster session will be held Wednesday, April 11 from 5:00 to 6:30 as a part of the welcome
reception. Poster presenters will be by their displays during this dedicated time in order to discuss the
presentation with interested viewers. The winner of the poster competition will be announced during
the awards dinner.
Programs and products related to victimology and victim services are invited to exhibit at the
symposium. Publishing companies, consulting firms, service organizations, and other entities that
offer products or services related to victim issues are encouraged to consider exhibiting.
Symposium Fees
Every effort has been made to keep the program cost as low as possible. The discounted fee of $155
is for ASV members; the non-member fee of $215 includes ASV membership good through June 30,
2008. Students must supply proof of student status to get the student rate. A late fee of $50 is
assessed to all registrations received after April 2.
Cancellations and Refunds
Registrants unable to attend the symposium should contact the University of Baltimore as soon as
possible. A substitute may be sent at no cost. Refunds can be issued for cancellations made by April
2, 2007 minus a $50 administrative fee. No refunds will be issued after that date.
