SCRIPTS for NATIONAL EAS TEST PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENTS

other networks will be interrupted with a short nationwide test of the Emergency Alert

regularly-scheduled programming will be interrupted with an announcement that a test of

Emergency Management Agency will conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert
System. It will be heard on the radio and seen on broadcast, cable, and satellite TV. As
Federal, State, tribal, territorial and local governments prepare for and test their
capabilities, this event serves as a reminder that everyone should establish an emergency
preparedness kit and emergency plan for themselves, their families, communities, and
