I have been presented with an opportunity to participate in a mission trip to the
Dominican Republic. We will be working at the Caribbean Institute for Missions
Advancement at King’s Castle Ministry Center (CIMA-del Rey-King’s Castle) in
Piedra Blanca, Bonao, Dominican Republic. The purpose of our trip is to work on
a construction project. We will also have opportunity to serve beside a Masters
Commission team as they are part of the local evangelistic outreach.
The project is assist in constructing a ministry training, camping, and retreat
center for King’s Castle Ministries and the Assemblies of God National Church.
King’s Castle Ministries is committed to “forming disciples with a missionary
vision to win children and youth to the Lord.”Buildings to be constructed include
dorms, kitchen, dining hall, sanctuary and prayer rooms, gymnatorium, and

I am writing to ask for your help in 3 areas. First and foremost I ask you to pray
for the success of this trip. It’s not automatic just because we show up. We’ve
already begun preparing getting passports, etc., and frankly, unless the Lord is
directing these efforts, I would just as soon stay home anyway. So your prayers
are extremely important.

Next, I am asking for your financial support if you can do it. I truly believe the
Lord IS directing me to be part of this trip and your money will not
be wasted. The total cost of this trip is $1,000 including at travel costs, housing
and ministry expenses.
All giving is tax deductible. Checks should be made out to OASIS CHURCH with
a note in the memo: (your name and Dominican Republic trip).
