Moderate - Low In 1948 there was an inspection by the Land Officer and W.R. Anderson of the Committee of the boat sheds at Indented Head. At this time there were 25 boat sheds on the foreshore, with three others to be “erected shortly.” As no details of this boat shed have been given (it does not appear in the Foreshore Committee Minutes and Balance Sheets in 1942-43 or in 1947), it would appear that this shed was built in c.1948, being either part of the 25 sheds identified at this time, or as one of the three sheds about to be built. The first boat shed licensee was Tom Pascoe of Ballarat. After the death of Pascoe in the c.1960s, D.E. Doherty sought a transfer of the license from the estate of Pascoe. This transfer was approved. Doherty was listed as the licensee in 1971.
