Description:
Recessed, round downlighter for perfect trimless installation into different types of ceilings. The INTANA can be used for general
lighting or accent lighting applications and is equipped with the BEAUFORTTM led technology from TAL.
Thanks to the dedicated trimless frame (optional) the INTANA fixture can be easily installed into a plasterboard (or drywall system)
for false ceiling structures but can also easily installed on a plasterboard (or equivalent) in combination with solid (concrete)
ceilings.
Suitable for installation in a round cut-out of 140 mm diameter (in combination with the dedicated trimless frame)
The led light source is a little hidden for anti-glare reasons, while the lightsource is orientable to point out at any direction with a
nice, warm beam.
Thanks to the BEAUFORTTM technology the INTANA combines efficient energy consumption with pleasant light.
HELVA FLUSH Beaufort is available in textured white & textured black finish.

POWER MEETS BEAUTY
With Beaufort, TAL launches a brand new LED-technology that will knock the lighting world off its
feet by a metaphorical fierce gust of wind. The name ‘Beaufort’ is put together from the words ‘beau’
and ‘fort’; a combination of beauty and power, splendor and strength. This combined action of
beauty and power reveals itself in the fact that Beaufort delivers a pleasant warm white light of
2700K ( the atmosphere of the incandescent light bulbs ) together with a high output; a combination
that was, up until now, impossible to obtain. Beaufort does not only produce a powerful and a welldefined beam, the module also looks splendid and refined.
In short: Power meets beauty.
Chip-on-Board (COB): A beautiful and bright light beam
Beaufort makes use of the chip-on-board technology (COB), a production technique where the chips
are mounted directly on the PCB. The chips are encapsulated by a phosphorus coating which isolates
and protects them. This makes it possible to produce a higher efficiency than any other combination
or by mixing leds. The different, adjacent chips in one chip-on-board module act as one singular led
which, by means of a high output lens, casts a perfect light beam without any shadows.
2700K: A pleasant light experience
What makes Beaufort so exceptional is the fact that this technology produces an enjoyable warm
white light of 2700K, the same soft and pleasant light of the light bulbs of yesteryear. The warm and
comfortable light that this technology provides, demonstrates furthermore that Beaufort can
perfectly replace a 50W halogen bulb with only 6,6W. Dimming is also possible by means of PWM
and therefore dimmable converters. The attractive warm white light of Beaufort makes this
technology ideal for applications in hotels and restaurants, snug living rooms and cosy kitchens. In
other words, Beaufort is at its best in rooms where you can relax and have a pleasant chat with your
loved ones after a hard day.
180mA: High output
Our products with Beaufort technology are driven at 180mA, while other LED-devices are driven at
350 or 700mA. In other words, Beaufort offers plenty of output for very little input. The fittings with
Beaufort deliver, with a light efficiency of almost 100 lm/W, not only an exceptionally high output,
the design also looks very refined. Because of the fact that the leds are used within their ideal
operating range, less heat is produced which allows for the use of smaller heatsinks. Consequently,
the required installation height is very limited. In brief: the small shape of the Beaufort module
provides more design flexibility in very small fittings. The catchphrase ‘when power meets beauty’ is
therefore Beaufort-wise certainly in order.
