Announcements by Panhellenic President, Katrina Ziegenhirt:
A. Panhellenic Creed
B. Recruitment De-brief: Quota was 39! Total is being calculated tonight by Maria!
C. After Total is calculated we can begin COB.
D. Extension process explanation and update
a. If we do open up for extension we would expect a 13th chapter in about two
years (Fall 2012)
b. Public information if you know anyone on the exploratory committee
c. Meeting September 23rd at 6pm
d. If we do decide to do extend, we would form an Extension Committee who
would form an application, send it out to nationals, and then receive
applications and select a chapter to colonize.
e. Be looking out for that report in the next couple meetings, and we’ll have a
vote after that. Delegates will vote to represent their chapters.
E. BPD/UCPD Joint Task Force...heads up!
a. BPD & UCPD have been trying to bridge the communication gap/where
their jurisdiction is. They’ve formed a joint tax force which they are calling
the “Party Patrol,” one BPD/UCPD officer in one car, out and about in the
community.
F. Sister Mixers!
a. All semester you will be paired with a sorority, you can do whatever you
want with the other chapter. Ideas: philanthropy, CERT classes, new
member activities, barbeques, mani-pedi parties, etc.!
b. Pairings will be emailed out to you.

a. Still doing Delegate of the Week, now we will also pick two delegates out of a
hat and they will get a Yogurt Park date with a member of Exec.

A. ASUC Internships – Encourage your members to apply!
B. Senate bills for Greek events – tell your philanthropy chairs to email Vishalli about
getting money from the Greek Opportunity Fund for philanthropy events.

a. Panhellenic Woman of the Summer: Congratulations to Stephanie Ullrich
from Alpha Phi and thank you to Alexis for nominating her!
B. Reminders
a. Agenda- I will send out a reminder the Monday before meeting, but in
general always send me any chapter announcements you have by Tuesday at
noon.
b. Website- As usual, please send me any updates for your chapter profile on
the CalGreeks website and let me know if there are events coming up that I
can put on the Events Calendar on the website as well as promote in the
newsletter!

A. Greeks Fight Back is October 10th (Sunday). New members need to be there at 2pm
and actives need to be there at 3. The event will end at 4:30pm.

A. Exploratory Committee meeting Thursday, September 23rd at 6pm

1. Kappa Kappa Gamma:
A. Really important to our chapter that a lot of people come out to Jog for Jill. It would
really mean a lot to KKG and Jill if you would encourage all your members,
including new members to go.
