The field for the Championships will be limited to 120 contestants. In the event of the number of

i. All current A and B section players from the previous Inter Provincial championship.
ii. Balance of the participants to be determined by handicap.

The championship and other events will be held in accordance with the Rules of Golf as approved by
the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews and Local Rules approved by organising committee. It
will be obligatory for all competitors in the Championship to play with a ball which is named on the

acceptance or refusal of any entry shall be final.
The draw will be issued on Friday, 24 June 2011. Players shall start at the time laid down by the
tournament committee (Rule 6-3a). However it is a condition of this Championship that, if a player
arrives at his starting point, ready to play, within 5 minutes of his starting time, in the absence of Rule
33-7, the penalty for failure to start on time is two strokes at the first hole instead of disqualification. It
is the intention of the tournament committee to advise all competitors by SMS of their tee times. The
draw for Wednesday will be a random draw whilst on Thursday this will be a seeded draw.
