Dear Parents,

Dear Parents,

In order to do an exchange with another country you must purchase your own airline ticket, visas and insurance. Below are the two recommended Rotary contacts we have used in the past.

Proof of insurance must be obtained before you will be allowed in the country and leave the US. I will need a copy of this for your file. Airline reservation should include an open round trip ticket.

Should the student disobey rules or have a family emergency they will be sent back home and parents co ntacted. That ticket and student’s passport will be given to Rotary counselor for safekeeping.

Students may be traveling into Argentina without visas and obtaining them there, but I'll have to keep you posted on that. Germany doesn’t need visas (they will enter as tourists as then get student visas shortly after arrival); India will take approximately 3 weeks, Brazil approximately one month to one in a half months.

Here are some sample fares from Missoula to countries abroad.
